All story & poem entries must revolve around the themes from the book "Christy" by Catherine Marshall. Because of this, all stories must contain a disclaimer such as this: "The story of Christy is owned the Marshall-LeSourd Family. We are in no way seeking profit or credit for her story. This fiction is written for our own amusement only. This story uses themes from the book, CBS series and the PAX movies."
All entries must relate to the 2006 ChristyFest^TM theme: "The Spirit Lives On ".
Story and/or poem entries will be accepted from February 27, 2006 until March 25, 2006. Send all entries to: smokygap@yahoo.com. Entries will be posted on this website, to be voted on in March 2006.
One entry per person per category.
Entries must be original material and previously unpublished.
Voting begins March 26 and ends March 31, 2006. (A voting link will be added to this website on 3/26/06.) Only one vote per person, per category, per day is allowed. Winner will be announced April 1.
Members of the CF Team are not eligible for prizes.
Members of the Christy List, ChristyFest Message Board, and Pax Forum are encouraged to vote for their favorite story and poem. One prize will be awarded in each category. The winners will select from the prints of either the school/church or Doc's cabin as seen at the ChristyFest^TMwebsite under the CF Store.
